Each "Highest Paying Job" book provides job descriptions, education and training requirements, future employment outlook, expected earnings, and sources of additional information for the highest paying jobs based on the federal government's labor statistics for the years 2002 through 2020. This information was gathered from the Bureau of Labor Statistics at http://www.bls.gov.
Adobe Reader required: The e-books are formatted in Adobe PDF, the most popular format for downloading material on the Internet. If you do not already have an Adobe Reader, you can download a free one by clicking on the yellow button at the top of this page.
How to Download an E-Book
Step 1: Download a free Adobe Reader if you do not already have one (yellow button above). You might need to turn off your anti-virus software / firewall.
Step 2: If an Adobe Reader is installed on your computer, click on the name of the e-book at left.
Step 3: Wait for the file to open. It might appear that nothing is happening for a few minutes (depending on your connection speed), but the file is loading. When the file opens and the table of contents appears on your screen, the file has downloaded.
Step 4: Save the file to your hard drive by clicking on the small black diskette icon on the Adobe Reader menu and choosing "save". Do not try to save the file using your browser pull down menu, as that will save this web page, not the e-book.
In the future, you may open and view or print an ebook by clicking on the Adobe Reader icon that appears on your desktop menu, just as you would with a word processing program.
