Example of the Computer Skills Section of a Resume

Unless you are an executive or your job is completely unrelated to computer use, you should put a computer skills section on your resume.  Not only does it tell employers what computer skills you have, the additional keywords help your resume compete in a resume database.

Below is a list of computer hardware and software to help you think of your own computer-related skills.  If your computer knowledge is extensive, you might list it in sections as illustrated:
